Week of January 3-5, 2018

Welcome back! I hope everyone had a safe, fun, and restful break. I can’t believe we are at the midpoint for this school year! I look forward to seeing the growth your children make as we finish out this year strong.

Writing Workshop: New Year Resolution writing; Review writing guidelines
Science: New Year Resolutions; Review science guidelines

READ! - Headsprouts practice/”Book in a Bag”
*Students should read their “Book in a Bag” the night it gets sent home, and then bring it back to school the next day for reading groups. (These will be coming home NEXT week.)
First Grade PBL
As a part of our grade level service learning project, we are collecting soda tabs for the Ronald McDonald House all year starting in October. Send tabs in at any time in a plastic bag, and we will do the rest!
