If your child does not have an assigned costume, please send a white t-shirt to school with your child by Monday, March 20th. If you can, please go ahead and put it in a gallon sized Ziploc bag labeled with your child's name on the outside. I will keep these in my room for students to change into on our dress rehearsal day (March 21st) and playday/night (March 23rd) so that students don't have to worry about bringing them each day. First Grade Play Information
The First Grade Musical is right around the corner.  Thank you to everyone who has been able to help out so far.  We still need help with a few things in order to make this a success.  Please read below and consider volunteering to help out if you can!

  • You should have received an email or letter explaining what your child will wear for his or her costume.  Please send in the t-shirt or other designated clothing items for your child’s costume by Monday, March 20th.  Please have the t-shirt in a gallon sized Ziplock bag labeled with your child’s name on the outside.  These will be kept in the classrooms for students to change into on rehearsal day (Tuesday, March 21st).  You do not need to send in the jeans, just the white t-shirt.  Please send your child to school in jeans on Tuesday, March 21st & Thursday, March 23rd to complete their costumes both days!
  • We have 3 volunteers that will take pictures of the actual musical dress rehearsal, but we need 1 mom (parent) per class to take candid photos of the kids after they get dressed in their classrooms on March 21st.  You need a good quality camera- DSLR.  If you are willing and interested, you can contact Lindsey Pollack for more details.
  • Mrs. Granger came up with the idea to help raise some more money to benefit Relay for Life during our play's evening performance. Since the play is called, "Lemonade," we will be selling cups of lemonade to guests following the 7:00 performance. Chick-Fil-A is donating lemonade to this cause, so all the money raised will go straight to Relay for Life!  We need two or three volunteers to help us sell the lemonade following the performance.  If you are willing to do this, please contact Lindsey.

Thank you SO much for all of your help to make this a success.  Our first graders and Ms. Granger, Ms. Pinneau and their interns are working SO hard to make this a great show!

Please contact me if you are able to help with any of our needs or have any questions at all!

Lindsey Pollack
Information went home today about our next field trip. We will be going to Bear Hollow Zoo on May 3rd! Thanks so much!
