Spelling Test
The children did a wonderful job working on their spelling words this week! All graded tests came home in your child's Friday folder.  They will have ten spelling words that they receive each week.  In addition, they will have 2 "mystery words" that they apply the same spelling pattern to words, 2 "challenge words" where they will try to use advanced phonics skills to continue practicing listening for ALL sounds in words, and a sentence dictation.  I give them one sentence to write.  They get credit ONLY if they use correct capitalization, punctuation, spacing, and spelling of spelling words.

Scholastic News Donation
